Apparently McDonald's is debuting a new series of commercials involving those ubiquitous Ronald McDonald benches, Bigfoot and a man in a hamster costume. Meanwhile in Japan, Ronald's cousin Donald can be seen on TV figure skating in the Torino Winter Olympics. These new commercials might seem a little familiar to anyone who has seen Burger King's kitschy new ads featuring a creepy big headed mascot and Brooke Burke. Hey Ronald, copying Burger King's ad campaign just ain't cool. Looks to me like you need to find yourself some new marketing people. In case you're interested, I'll be available starting August 1st.

So, why weren't Jen Taylor of Halo 2 (Cortana) and Merle Dandridge of Half-life 2 (Alyx Vance) nominated? Oh, that's right, Halo 2 and Half-life 2 weren't published by EA. I forgot. These were character portrayals I actually connected with. Cortana and Alyx Vance represented deep characterization that was only possible because of the quality of their voice acting.

I recently purchased the Core Secrets package (advertised in infomercials with Brooke Burke and Gunnar Petersen) and I absolutely love it! Not only has it been a fun workout, but its also a great deal if you are looking to buy a fitness ball.

Almost every time we turn on the television we see a Burger King commercial. However, I have recently discovered several undertones in these commercials that I don’t believe to have any relation to selling fast-food. There are currently two Burger King Commercials that truly stick out from the rest. The first one, that I am sure you have all seen, is the one with Brooke Burke. During the commercial she is seen in the background on a swing eating a burger. At the end of the commercial, the camera gets a close up of her and she says one like, “Come...

What is up with those weird BK commercials? First there's Hootie in a cowboy hat and Brooke Burke swinging like some Garden of Eden Eve, and then there this even weirder commercial where the burger "king" shows up outside this guy's window and gives him a huge omelette sandwich. It's really weird, almost creepy.

And I didn't realize that was Brooke Burke at the end of the ad, either. Show of hands here - who thinks Brooke Burke has ever eaten at Burger King in her life? Yeah, me neither.
