Ayn Rand Movie?

movie stars angelina jolie and brad pitt
LOL.

So apparently Brad PItt and Angelina Jolie are in talks to star in an Atlas Shrugged movie. Personally, I think this is great news, since it means a whole new generation of people will be not taking Ayn Rand seriously.

Ayn Rand has touched my life as a student of philosophy more than any one person on earth. She stands up for the individual, while you and other leftists are trying to push this country into a collectivist state (which America already tried and failed during our first years in the New World). Calie is right, her books have sold in record numbers, even a half century after they were written. Have you even read Ayn Rand? Do her philosphies make you feel small, like her humanist bad-guys in her books? Have you ever created anything, only to see it destroyed for the "common good"? I'm thinking...probably not. Get a clue...or read Atlas Shrugged....if your small-mindedness will enable you to understand it.

"A whole new generation of people will be not taking Ayn Rand seriously?"

What a small mind you are. Even after her death, her books are selling at higher levels every year. Atlas Shrugged, written over forty years ago, is 124th on the Amazon book list.

A poll by the Library of Congress had Atlas Shrugged #2 behind the Bible in its poll of books that had most influenced people's lives.

Thousands of successful people credit her influence with their life's philosophy.

You are real silly.
