Affleck in Superman biopic:
Ben Affleck will star in a biopic that focuses on the life of George Reeves, the actor who portrayed Superman in the 1950s TV series, and the investigations of his mysterious death in 1959.
The lead role was initially offered to Hugh Jackman, Keanu Reeves, Viggo Mortensen, and Dennis Quaid at various times, but Ben Affleck proved to be the strongest contender.
